Oz Automation was great, my gate motor died and the manual override broke too, needed an urgent replacement! Thien was punctual to my calls and inspection appointment. Thien came two days earlier than promised which was perfect timing and I had not been able to open our electronic gate and had beer fighting with it.He turned up, problem solved , sorted the issues and followed up a few days later to make sure the gate was behaving.Exceptional service and a great result.Thank you!

my old gate opener let me down, I Googled a local company and got Oz Automation, Thien came to my house that morning and checked out the problem, they were able to supply and fit new openers at a reasonable price, they were prompt and professional. I have a swing gate which has caused me nothing but angst and it ends being useless. This last time I decided to get someone skilled and professional in to fix it once and for all. All the gate guys I called balked at the job as they did not have the skills to rectify the problem, but when Tim arrived, he scoped out the problem and was confident that he could fix it properly. Well- fix it he did and in a very short amount of time. It runs and feels like a proper gate- the first time in years that I have had my gate functioning properly. Thanks Tim- for a fantastic job!!

We asked Oz Automation (Tim) for help with a new garage door motor for a new house purchase. We wanted something reliable with WIFI/Bluetooth/Internet control capability. Tim suggested replacing our old merlin chain drive unit with a new merlin belt drive. Service was amazing, at a great price and installed by Tim who explained everything step by step. Everything was fully tidied up & he even serviced the garage door before he left. Would 100% recommend, only regret is i can't give more than 5 stars !!! 🙂

Edit end 2025. Changed from 5 star to 4 star as not as price competitive any more.This is a small business that used to be located in Nathan with great service and now moved so all their old reviews seemed to have disappeared. In any case, if you need someone to look at your electric garages or in my case electric sliding gate, this business should be the first. The owner is reliable with time schedule and prices are probably the most competitive in Brisbane. I had my sliding gate electric motor replaced by him 2 yrs ago and recently needed his help to look at a receiver which the owner/operator was great at diagnosing and getting things going again.

Thein (Tim) and his team recently installed 6.5m electric gate for us. He suggested the style and we couldn’t be happier with the aesthetics. There was an adjustment to the final price in my favour for some work I had done and there were no issues what so ever. Communication could have been a bit better but over all very happy and would recommend them to any of my friends.

I recently had Mr. Thein from OZ Automation replace my old sliding gate motor, and I’m extremely happy with his work.After the installation, I encountered a small issue with the gate closing, but Mr. Thein handled it promptly and professionally.
